For some reason we thought there would be bunks on board. Your right about the storms which appear from nowhere. The skioes are truely amazing, also thise flashing insects that light up the trees at night! I have a photo somewhere of where the Madeira joins the Amazon, its really weird. If I ever did that trip again I'd take plenty of toilet rolls. I lived on marmite and ships biscuits for 4 days. We did Ecuador, Bolivia Chile, Peru,Argenta , Uraguay and Brazil.
